This project is called Chimaera. A chimaera is a mythical Greek creature typically depicted as a fire-breathing monster with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail. The term has also been used to refer to any imaginary creature that is a combination of various animals. This chimaera has a unique and captivating appearance, with a cow's body, rhino's horn, and bird wings. I was drawn to the challenge of combining these different elements and coming up with a cohesive design. I wanted to bring the mythical chimaera to life in a way that was both faithful to its traditional representation and also uniquely my own. I wanted each part of the chimaera to blend seamlessly into the other to create a convincing image to make it look realistic and place it in a appropriate setting. I also chose lighter, faded colors and added a white vignette to the edges to make it seem more ethereal, and to add to the mythological, magical essence that the image has.
